How did you do that? It’s the recurring question of people who know my work. And frankly, I find it much easier to do than explain.
It’s something that started as a hobby, with very simple drawings and over time you discover that it has over you and there is no turning back.
That way flowing liquid pigments on silk, like as with watercolors, but at the same time completely different. As intense but dull colors, with fixation become bright colors. The silk unique touch ……
I admit that when I paint, I forget everything, do not hear, do not speak, I can only be focused on the color …..
I think the words of Lope de Vega to the feelings evoked in love, may resemble the feelings that arise when color is emerging on the white silk.
